Conventions Of An Opening Title Sequence
A title sequence is used to introduce the audience to the narrative of a film or tv show. With the use of the four micro features of sound, editing, cinematography and mise en scene a title sequence should create an atmosphere for the audience and give them a rough idea of what is to come.
In addition, a title sequence normally introduces the audience to the characters, settings and genre. The credits should include the director, producer, writer and other production crew members and also the main cast of actors and actresses.
